The Queen Baton Rouge to Celebrate Father’s Day with Fare Fit for Kings and Their Kin

BATON ROUGE, La (press release) – The Queen Baton Rouge, located at 1717 River Park Blvd., will honor thy fathers with a feast fit for kings and their kin for Father’s Day on Sunday, June 16.

The Queen Baton Rouge’s signature dining, drinking and entertainment destination, 1717 Kitchen + Cocktails will celebrate dads with a special offering of a 12-ounce Creekstone Farms ribeye steak served with balsamic Brussels sprouts, loaded mashed potatoes and a draft beer of choice, priced at $20. Draft beer selections will include locally brewed and popular domestic beers such as Abita Amber Lager, Jockamo Juicy IPA, Gnarly Barley Brewing Jucifer, Urban South Brewery Holy Roller IPA, Parish Brewing Co. SIPS Pinot Noir Black Currant Sour Ale, Bud Light, Michelob Ultra, Coors Light, Blue Moon, Modelo Especial and more.
Led by The Queen Baton Rouge’s Area Executive Chef Kevin Foil, 1717 Kitchen + Cocktails offers classic American favorites with inventive twists including adobo grilled pork tomahawk, a 12-ounce tomahawk chop with roasted red pepper sauce, loaded mash and onion strings, priced at $30; blackened salmon with smoked gouda grits and sautéed green beans, priced at $28; a center cut pork chop glazed with Creole mustard and cane syrup, accompanied by four-cheese macaroni, priced at $19. This signature creole & cane glazed pork dish earned Chef Foil the People’s Choice Award at the recent American Culinary Federation New Orleans Chapter’s (ACFNO) Best Chefs of Louisiana 2024.
