Gulf Coast Owned and Operated Brand Maison Mariann Fine Jewelry Launches First Collection
MOBILE, Al/NEW ORLEANS (press release) – On Monday, Oct. 28, Maison Mariann Fine Jewelry opened the doors to its online store. This new fine jewelry e-commerce boutique was created by two best friends to bring the spirit of celebration into everyday life through exquisitely crafted, bespoke fine jewelry that honors life’s moments of joy, achievement and connection.
Maison Mariann Fine Jewelry was created to honor co-founder and serial entrepreneur Stacy Wellborn’s mother, Mariann. After decades winning battles against various cancers, Mariann lost her fight with lung cancer at the age of 75. While going through Mariann’s things, Stacy found her mom’s treasured high school charm bracelet tucked among her possessions. Amid the Sweet 16 and graduation charms were charms commemorating girls’ trips to Mexico, California and Paris. One charm, engraved with the name “Wayne” holds the mystery to a long-ago romance. Academic achievements and symbols of Mariann’s faith are nestled next to charms engraved with her girlfriend’s names. Together, this collection of charms tell the story of Mariann’s early life — moments celebrated, milestones marked. Mariann’s bracelet is a symbol of memories acknowledged through the tradition of acquiring or being gifted a tangible reminder. Were Mariann to have a bracelet celebrating the middle and later years of her life, it would have included charms related to her long career, continued travels, her daughter Stacy, beloved pets and so many more.

Maison Mariann Fine Jewelry’s first piece, the Celebracelet was designed by Maison Mariann’s founders, Stacy Wellborn and Melanie Warner Spencer and crafted using responsibly sourced, conflict-free metals melted, alloyed, processed and made by master jewelers in Louisiana. Our master jewelers use Responsible Jewelry Council-certified practices for full traceability.
The Celebracelet is part of The Bubble Collection. This 7.5-inch bracelet features Maison Mariann’s signature collection bubble design. Available in Sterling Silver or 14K gold with a spring ring clasp featuring an adjustable closure point, each Celebracelet includes Maison Mariann Fine Jewelry’s signature champagne bottle charm. (The bottle charm can be omitted by request.) The Celebracelet can be worn alone or with minimalist, modern charms from our Charm Collection. Best of all, each celebracelet is made to order.

Maison Mariann Fine Jewelry is a house built on friendship, loyalty and love. Co-founders Stacy Wellborn and Melanie Warner Spencer met more than 20 years ago on a Kappa Alpha Theta alumnae board for the University of Texas in Austin. Neither attended UT, but they both responded to a call for board volunteers. They clicked right out of the gate and became fast friends. This friendship would become one of the most important relationships in both of their lives, but they never would have guessed that 21 years and countless champagne-worthy moments later, best friends would become business partners. Like any good relationship, theirs is based on shared values, which they work daily to incorporate into their personal lives, respective careers and infuse into the ethos of Maison Mariann Fine Jewelry.
