The Louisiana State Fair’s Last Weekend and This Week’s Discounts

SHREVEPORT, La (press release) – The Louisiana State Fair opens for its last week on Wednesday, Nov 12, and ends Sunday, Nov 16, with discounts offered every day. The hours of operation are 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. on Wednesday-Friday and 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday at the Louisiana State Fairgrounds.

Discounts this week:

• On weekdays, gate admission is free until 3pm.
• Wednesday, Nov. 12, is a Weekday Discount Day (Adult admission is $8.50, and children ages 3-12 admission is $4.50).
• Thursday, Nov. 13, is Family Discount Day (One adult admission is $8.50, which includes one free child admission). Each additional child is $4.50. Carnival ride armbands are only $28.
• Free parking every day of the fair.

  • Military and Veteran Appreciation Day Parade – 2 p.m.
  • Faith at the Fair (Word of God Ministries) – 4 p.m.

This Sunday, Nov. 16, the Louisiana State Fair will honor veterans and active military. All active military, veterans, and their families get into the fair for free with their military ID.
