“Disney’s Descendants: The Musical” in Alexandria This Weekend
This weekend, witness local talent perform “Disney’s Descendants: The Musical” in Alexandria at the Lagniappe Theatre. The performance welcomes audiences of all ages and features dancing, costumes and more.
Promoters of the event say “Disney’s Descendants: The Musical,” based on the hit Disney Channel movies, is a high-energy, fun-filled musical adventure that the whole family will love.
According to Lagniappe Theatre, the performance is a brand-new musical featuring comedy, adventure, Disney characters and hit songs from the film, such as “Rotten to the Core,” “If Only” and “Set It Off.”
The story follows the teenage children of famous Disney villain Mal, Evie, Carlos and Jay as they leave the Isle of the Lost to attend Auradon Prep, where they discover that being good might be even more powerful than being bad.
The production runs about 90 minutes.
