BATON ROUGE, La (press release) – The Louisiana Wildlife Federation is now accepting nominations for the 60th Annual Conservation Achievement Awards.

“Recognizing the great conservation work being done in Louisiana gives me hope for the future of wildlife and for continuing to enjoy the outdoors,” said Rebecca Triche, executive director of Louisiana Wildlife Federation. “These stories inspire others, and I encourage anyone who knows someone doing meaningful work to submit a nomination.”

Since 1965, the program has honored individuals, businesses and organizations that have made significant contributions to conserving Louisiana’s natural resources and improving the quality of the environment.

Award categories for 2025 include professional, volunteer, business, educator, elected official, communications, organization, youth, youth organization, Conservationist of the Year and Lifetime Achievement.

Nominations must be submitted by Jan. 30, 2026, through LWF’s website.
