St. Bernard Chamber Hosts 9-Day Shop Small Week Event

ST. BERNARD, La – The St. Bernard Chamber of Commerce will host Shop Small Week, an annual celebration of St. Bernard businesses, Nov. 29 – Dec. 7. 

Held in conjunction with Shop Small Saturday, this nine-day event supports the national movement by American Express to encourage shopping local during the holiday season.

The kickoff event is Saturday, Nov. 29, 9-11 a.m. at the French Press Coffeehouse of Chalmette, where attendees can find coupons from participating businesses and a Shop Small tote.

The event includes a Shop Small Raffle for the chance to win local prizes and gift cards. Raffle participants can enter by collecting a Shop Small Passport at any participating business or at the kickoff event and earning stamps from five businesses.

There is no limit on the number of passports completed per person. Each passport counts as one entry. Completed passports can be dropped off at any participating location. Winners will be drawn on the Monday after Shop Small Week.
