Tickets and Schedule for “The Lion King” in New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Tickets for the return of Disney’s “The Lion King” in New Orleans went on sale to the public on Friday, June 12.

Disney Theatrical Group and Broadway in New Orleans, presented by Entergy and the Saenger Theatre, made the announcement last week. 

“The Lion King” New Orleans return will once again leap onto the Saenger Theatre stage on Wednesday, Oct. 21, for a limited, three-week engagement through Sunday, Nov. 8.

The opening night is Thursday, Oct. 22, at 7:30 p.m. See ticket details and the full schedule below.

Tickets are available at the Saenger Theatre Box Office, online at BroadwayInNewOrleans.com, us.ATGTickets.com or by calling (504) 287-0372. Orders for groups of 10 or more may be placed via phone. 

Extra Magic Packages, which include an excellent seat in the theater and show merchandise, are also available. 

Ticket buyers are reminded that the Saenger Theatre, BroadwayInNewOrleans.com, and us.ATGTickets.com are the only official retail ticket outlets for all performances at the Saenger Theatre. 

Ticket buyers who purchase tickets from a ticket broker or any third party should be aware that the Saenger Theatre is unable to reprint or replace lost or stolen tickets and is unable to contact patrons with information regarding time changes or other pertinent updates regarding the performance.

Organizers share that “The Lion King” has been touring North America for more than 24 years, and during that time has welcomed over 28 million theatergoers, making it North America’s longest-running and most-attended Broadway tour. 

Having already played more than 10,000 performances in over 90 cities across North America,  “The Lion King” in New Orleans now proudly returns to the Saenger Theatre.
