Candlelight by Fever is a series of intimate concerts featuring live classical music from local musicians and thousands of candles at iconic venues worldwide.

The goal of the Candlelight Concerts is to make classical and instrumental music accessible to everyone. Because of its unique presentation, the concerts even attract those who may not typically listen to classical music.

Candlelight has illuminated a variety of iconic Louisiana spaces, including the LSU Student Union Theater, the Petroleum Club of Lafayette, the American Rose Center in Shreveport and the Southlake Theatre in Lake Charles.

The Candlelight Concerts began in Madrid, Spain, in 2019 and debuted in New Orleans in 2020.

Since its launch, Candlelight has grown rapidly, with millions of guests and concerts in more than 150 cities. Louisiana, in particular, has experienced its own statewide growth since the New Orleans debut.

“We’ve seen growing demand for Candlelight across Louisiana, reflecting the state’s strong appreciation for live music and unique cultural experiences. Since our launch in New Orleans in 2020, audience interest has continued to rise, leading to expansion into other cities such as Baton Rouge, Lafayette, Shreveport and Lake Charles,” said Candlelight at Fever Team lead Maria Valcarce.

Orangizers share that Louisiana’s rich history, architectural beauty and passionate communities make it the perfect setting for intimate, candlelit performances that celebrate both local heritage and artistry.

Beyond a revitalized appreciation for classical music in audience members, Candlelight also works to strengthen the visibility and growth of Louisiana’s classical and live music communities.

The Candlelight Concerts allow local artists to share their talent in a unique way and with a wider audience.

Musicians interested in joining the Candlelight experience can apply through an online form.
