Grand Opening Celebration Set for 14 New Miles of Mountain Bike Trails at Bogue Chitto State Park in Washington Parish

BATON ROUGE, La (press release) – Lieutenant Billy Nungesser and Louisiana State Parks invites you to the grand opening of 14 miles of new mountain bike trails at Bogue Chitto State Park in Franklinton, Louisiana, on Saturday, April 10. Created in collaboration with the Northshore Off-Road Biking Association (NORBA), the trails feature runs for all skill levels. Additionally, the staff at Bogue Chitto will unveil new Tentrr glamping sites, horseback riding trails and rentals, recreational vendors, and have plenty of food for everyone. The event is free and open to the public.
