RUSTON, La – On Dec. 5, the Ruston-Lincoln Chamber of Commerce welcomed the new Louisiana Surgery Center with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The new surgery center opened at 2480 Hwy 33 in Ruston. The Louisiana Surgery Center specializes in orthopedic, spine and ENT outpatient surgical services.

According to its website, the center offers same-day surgeries and prioritizes “compassionate treatment, aiming to help patients regain mobility and recover efficiently.”

“The addition of this surgery center is a major win for Ruston and the entire North Louisiana region,” said Ruston-Lincoln Chamber President and CEO Elizabeth Turnley. “It strengthens our healthcare infrastructure, expands patient access to specialized services and positions Ruston as a hub for high-quality medical care.”

“When residents can receive advanced care close to home, they stay, work and invest here — and that fuels our long-term growth,” said Turnley.

The chamber shares that Ruston’s central location makes the new center accessible to patients across North Louisiana.

“For the local community, this center means shorter travel times, faster scheduling, and a more personalized care experience,” said Ruston-Lincoln Chamber Executive Vice President Bevin Hicks.

“Our role moving forward will be to help connect them with local businesses, community partners and regional resources to ensure they have every opportunity to thrive,” said Hicks.

“The opening of this facility reflects the momentum Ruston is experiencing across all sectors: healthcare, education, manufacturing and small business,” said Turnely. “It’s an exciting time for our community, and we are grateful to have exceptional surgeons and medical professionals choosing Ruston as home.”

On its Instagram, the Louisiana Surgery Center writes, “We are so grateful to be expanding access to convenient, patient-centered surgical care. A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who supported this effort—we’re honored to serve you.”
