And yet, there’s another area so far south that some might forget about it, their minds stopping at New Orleans. 

Along the coast of Louisiana, nestled less than 30 miles East of Texas, lies Louisiana’s most-wishlisted Airbnb listing in Cameron, La.

In April, Airbnb unveiled its most-wishlisted listings in each state. 

The Channel Communications Lead at Airbnb, Ali Killam, shared with us that Padre’s Oceanfront, Louisiana’s most-wishlisted Airbnb, reflects a broader shift toward quieter, off-the-map coastal destinations where travelers can truly unplug.

Padre’s Oceanfront is on Little Florida Beach, located on the shoreline of the Peveto Woods Sanctuary, which is part of the Creole Nature Trail All-American Road. 

According to Visit Lake Charles, the Creole Nature Trail All-American Road is one of 43 designated scenic byways in the U.S., stretching 180 miles.
