LSU Museum of Art Galleries Reopened July 30, Announced Exhibition Date Updates

BATON ROUGE, La (press release) – The LSU Museum of Art reopened fifth-floor galleries to the public on Tuesday, July 30. The galleries resumed normal business hours and continue to offer exhibitions and programs for the Baton Rouge community.

Note the following changes to the exhibition schedule.

Exhibition Postponements & New Dates

  • Cherished: The Art of Clementine Hunter on view through Oct. 23

  • Fierce Planets: Work from the Studio Art Quilt Associates andInterior Space: Photographs by Roland Miller & Paolo Nespoli will now be extended to Sunday, September 8, 2024

  • Southern Reflections: Art by Kathryn Keller and Shirley Rabé Masinter on view Sept. 12–Nov. 17

  • In a New Light: American Impressionism 1870–1940, Works from the Bank of America Collection on view Oct. 18, 2024–March 23, 2025
