Open House to Introduce Glamping at Louisiana State Parks as Lt. Gov. Billy Nungesser Unveils New Partnership with Tentrr

BATON ROUGE, La (press release) – Lieutenant Governor Billy Nungesser will host an open house at Fontainebleau State Park in Mandeville to unveil a new partnership with Tentrr. More than 60 “glamping” sites will be available in eight Louisiana State Parks featuring fully-equipped, safari-style tent sites outfitted with cots, heat, Adirondack chairs, fire pit, grill, and picnic table. Single and double tent sites will be available. Examples of the sites will be available for the public and media to view on Friday, Nov. 13, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Fontainebleau State Park. A media event will be held at 3 p.m.
In addition, the 2020 King of Louisiana Seafood, Chef Robert Vasquez of Pepe’s Sonoran Cuisine in Covington, will be preparing samples of the dish he cooked to win the 2020 Louisiana Seafood Cook-Off.
