The Louisiana-based non-profit welcomed 3,100 people to the conversation on mental health

BATON ROUGE – The Rain Will Bring Flowers Foundation welcomed approximately 3,100 attendees to its third annual Planting Seeds of Hope awareness event on Feb. 24 at the LSU Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
Rain Will Bring Flowers Foundation is a non-profit that was founded in 2023 by Jordan and Lisa Tabor, two parents who lost their 15-year-old son, Owen Tabor, to suicide. Their mission is to prevent youth suicide through awareness, education and support.

The event featured powerful personal stories, expert insight and live entertainment designed to encourage open dialogue, foster connection and provide access to vital mental health resources.

Celebrity participants included:
- ESPN analyst Ryan Clark
- NFL standout Clyde Edwards-Helaire
- Louisiana State Representative and LSU PA Announcer for Tiger Stadium Dixon McMakin
