$15 Off Louisiana Food & Wine Festival Tickets + Event Schedule

LAKE CHARLES, La (press release) – The Louisiana Food & Wine Festival, hosted by Visit Lake Charles, takes place March 12 – 15 in Lake Charles.
SOWELA Technical Community College and The Imperial Calcasieu Museum are official charity partners, with 100% of the proceeds from the Wine & Whiskey Pull on March 14, at the Grand Tasting, donated directly to the museum.
The festival announced two opportunities for ticket deals, its full event schedule and the details for its VIP Experience on Saturday, March 14, from 1 – 2 p.m., taking place immediately before the Grand Tasting.
Louisiana Food & Wine Festival VIP Experience
The VIP Experience will include premium culinary and beverage tastings not available with the general admission ticket, including “Crawfish & Cocktails” sponsored by Louisiana Crawfish, which will be an East meets South crawfish boil.
Two boils will be featured:
- An Indian twist on a crawfish boil, “Indian Spiced Crawfish,” with tons of veggies and Louisiana Crawfish
- A traditional Louisiana crawfish boil
Both will be paired with signature festival cocktails and premium pours. Louisiana Crawfish Spokesperson Chef Yvette Bonanno and Crawfish Brand Ambassador Chef Rosh Gurnani present this special crawfish tasting as part of the VIP Experience.
The VIP Experience will also include special VIP souvenirs and SWAG, along with early access to the Grand Tasting at 1:30 p.m.
Festival Schedule of Events
- Thursday: Louisiana’s Best Taste Awards
- March 12, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
- New Location: L’Auberge Casino Resort Lake Charles
- An interactive walk-around of creations by chefs from the region and throughout the state. This professionally judged event will reveal the winners of Louisiana’s Best Taste Awards.
- Beverage tasting stations include wine, beer, spirits and craft cocktails

- Friday: Fire on the Lake
- March 13, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
- Bord du Lac Park
- A quintessential Louisiana celebration of live fire cooking from pitmasters, chefs and grill masters.

- Vegetarian creations
- Unlimited tasting bites, wine, beer and spirits tastings with a souvenir glass

- Saturday: Louisiana Food & Wine Festival Grand Tasting

- Culinary and beverage tastings, with live Zydeco music from Geno Delafose & French Rockin’ Boogie. Tickets are all-inclusive for food and beverage tastings, including a souvenir glass for unlimited beverage tastings from hundreds of wines, beer and spirits exhibitors. The Cooking Demo Stage will showcase Louisiana chefs from regions around the entire state. There will also be an artisan market.

- All-inclusive priced ticket featuring unlimited beverage tastings with a souvenir glass, live music, a lavish brunch with carving stations, Louisiana Seafood stations, made-to-order omelet stations, a variety of desserts and more. The Sharp 9’s will have live music. A variety of the festival’s official beverage partners will participate with bottomless Bloody Marys, Mimosas, sparkling wines, spirits, wine, beer and more.
