Louisiana Life Wins Best Magazine at Press Club Awards
NEW ORLEANS – On July 19, the Press Club of New Orleans held their annual awards ceremony, where Louisiana Life took home the grand prize of Best Magazine.
Louisiana Life outperformed 64 Parishes (2nd place) and Arthur Hardy’s Mardi Gras Guide (3rd place), reinforcing its reputation as Louisiana’s leading magazine for storytelling, photography, and design.
“I’m honored to see Louisiana Life win the Best Magazine award from the Press Club of New Orleans,” said Editor Reine Dugas. “The magazine’s writers and photographers have consistently created beautiful stories about the state of Louisiana that need to be told. Art Director, Sarah Majeste, brings the pages to life with her incredible visual sensibility and skill. I’m grateful to be a part of this team.”
In addition to Best Magazine, Louisiana Life snagged a 2nd place in Lifestyle Reporting for “Dames de Perlage” – win shared by Kevin Rabalais, Reine Dugas and Sarah Majeste.

The LouisianaLife win was part of a broader night of recognition for Renaissance Publishing. The parent company of Louisiana Life, New Orleans Magazine, Biz New Orleans and St. Charles Avenue earned accolades across print, broadcast, digital and design categories.
