New Art Feast NOLA Experience Combines Food, Art and Fashion

NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Art Feast NOLA is a new celebration of the culinary, visual and wearable arts that will take place across two nights, with more than 20 art galleries and over 20 restaurants for strolling, sipping, savoring and discovering.
The Art Feast NOLA Experience: How it Works
Every participating gallery is paired with a restaurant, and every restaurant creates a signature tasting bite served right inside the gallery. Guests wander door to door at their own pace, taking in paintings, sculpture, photography and wearable art while tasting their way through one of the world’s greatest food cities.
Along the way, they’ll be greeted by fashion models styled by artist and designer Brittany Schall.
“In New Orleans, getting dressed has always been its own art form,” said Schall. “Art Feast NOLA lets fashion stand right alongside the paintings and the plates, so guests can watch wearable art come to life as they move from gallery to gallery.”

Philanthropy
A portion of proceeds from the event benefits Equine Reflections Therapeutic Center, a Folsom, La., 501(c)(3) nonprofit where rescued horses help children, teens, adults and families heal. Working alongside licensed mental health professionals, the center’s herd supports equine-assisted psychotherapy, equine-assisted learning and team-building programs that build trust, confidence and resilience–often getting people the help they need in weeks rather than months. Attendance at Art Feast NOLA will help a child heal with a horse.
“Our horses were rescued, and now they help rescue people,” said Bonny Barry, founder and executive director of Equine Reflections. “Every ticket to Art Feast NOLA helps us say yes to one more child or family who needs us.”
