RUSTON, La – The official start to spring aligns with the spring equinox, which falls on March 20 this year. However, according to the BBC, there is a “meteorological spring,” which, in the weather world, is considered March 1.
Regardless of whether you consider next week spring or not, I think we are all ready for the lifestyle spring brings: weather that isn’t too hot yet, baseball games, festivals, markets and, really, something to fill the Mardi Gras void.

At Big Creek Trade Days, there is a large variety of vendors that have vintage items, furniture, plants, handmade crafts, and more! Take a stroll around all the booths, enjoy live music and eat some delicious food. Admission is only $5 per car.
