22nd Annual Plaquemines Parish Seafood Festival in Belle Chasse
A Weekend of Live Music, Delicious Seafood, Family Fun & More

BELLE CHASSE, La. (press release) – The 22nd Annual Plaquemines Parish Seafood Festival will take place April 24-26, bringing a celebration of local seafood, culture and community to the festival grounds at 333 F. Edward Hebert Blvd. in Belle Chasse.
Festival-goers can enjoy a wide variety of fresh seafood prepared by local restaurants and organizations, including one of the parish’s signature staples: chargrilled oysters.
In addition to the cuisine, the festival will feature live music, carnival rides, local artisan crafts and the popular Oyster Drop Raffle. Families can also enjoy a dedicated kids’ tent on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
“For over 20 years, the Plaquemines Parish Seafood Festival has celebrated the rich seafood heritage of our parish. It’s what truly defines our community—our people, our culture and our world-class seafood,” said Plaquemines Parish Seafood Festival Event Coordinator Dondra Kientz. “We invite everyone to come enjoy incredible food, live music and family-friendly fun at an event that showcases what makes Plaquemines Parish so special.”
Organizers share that proceeds from the long-standing, nonprofit festival benefit local charities, schools and civic organizations.
